July 1, 2001: Buffalo Sabres goaltender, Dominik Hasek, was traded to the Detroit Red Wings Saturday for left wing Vyacheslav Kozlov, a 2002 first-round draft choice, and future considerations.
The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed Patrick Roy to a three-year extension worth $8.5 million per season.
